Let love remain special
Since facebook came up with an option to give reactions and break the monotony of likes, I amended the way I used to like the pictures/posts. Earlier I used to like only those pictures/posts that seemed really special to me,now with the option to "love" them, I have been pretty generous to throw likes, as I've got the love one for the loved ones. So basically the preciousness of a like has come to its all time low(atleast for me).
This outdating of old things with the arrival of new ones is a more than acceptable norm in technology and related areas. And so we accepted this change and also mended our ways accordingly. With the option to love, like became a commonplace, it is left no more the same as it once used to be. I wonder what will be the next evolution? What if love too becomes commonplace? That will certainly not be a good sign, for love that is so special,must not be made so ordinary. Already we are living in times when the expression of love, if it is an art, has dearth of Picassos. People often find it more in their comfort zones to say "I hate you" than "I love you". It is the lack of media and expressions that the generation, even though otherwise advanced, lacks considerably.
Here it must be made clear what comes under my domain of love and moreover, the expression of it : 'Love for the country means to be patriotic,without being a gingoist ; Love for animals, without being a vigilante and love for any being without a tinge of lust.
If that resides in you, rather tides in you, there must be some positive channel to let that flow. The channel can be words, literary or conversational(can be both as well) and there can be plethora of other channels as well, but the dearth is only of that art of expression and that of the perceptibility to certain emotions. To fill that vacuum, technology plays its part as much as it can, but in the end, it cannot overcome the lack of humanistic aspects. What we are witnessing is that Phones are getting smarter day by day and we are losing more and more on our part. It is making us accustomed to using the emojis with perfection to suit every situation, but somewhere we have lost the ability to read the real emotions at faces far more real and complex than the emojis.
To every other expression,replacements can be made but it is trying times if love becomes commonplace, its expression becomes a monotony. Let it not become vulnerable to this commonality as the like had become.

Perhaps the tech-bosses will provide some more beautiful gestures in the days to come, with you and me failing miserably on our expressions. But not only the technology and its users have offended love, writers,thinkers and linguists are also to be blamed. Why do they use such phrases that portray love as a sinful act. Why phrases like "falling in love" ? With due respect to all these offenders, my call is : 'Come!!!!!! Let us rise in love.'
