रहने दीजिए,ये असफल प्रयास मत कीजिए।क्रिकेट के दिए हुए आँसू हॉकी के आंचल से नहीं छुपने वाले।क्योंकि हॉकी का आंचल उतना बङा नहीं।हॉकी को हमने कभी प्रोजेक्टर लगा कर प्रोजेक्ट नहीं किया,हॉकी की जीत पर कभी सङकों पर जश्न नहीं मना,हॉकी की जीत के लिए कभी हवन नहीं हुए।जब हॉकी के लिए प्री-मैच विश्लेषण नहीं हुए,तो अब पोस्ट मैच चर्चा क्यों? इसलिए खुद को झूठी सांत्वना न दी जाए और शोकाकुल हैं तो शोक ही प्रकट कीजिए अन्यथा दिल पर हाथ रखकर भारतीय हॉकी टीम के सभी खिलाङियों के नाम लेने की कोशिश कीजिए और अपनी इस झूठी सांत्वनाओं को प्रमाण पत्र दे दीजिए। पर भारत की यही विशेषता है और यही हमारी प्रसन्नता का रहस्य है कि हम बङे बङे दु:खों को छोटी-छोटी खुशियों से भुलाने का प्रयास करते हैं।और होना भी ऐसा ही चाहिए। पर यहाँ पर मुझे जो समझ में नहीं आता वह यह कि एक मैच हार जाने पर इतना दुख क्यों?मेरे कुछ मित्र तो कल रात से इस कदर सदमे में हैं जैसे परिवार में कोई बहुत खास भगवान को प्यारा हो गया हो।हर मैच की तरह कल भी वही हुआ कि एक बेहतर प्रदर्शन करने वाली टीम जीत गई तो फिर  यह संताप क्यों? क्योंकि हम उम्मीदें ब...

Language is dynamic and flexible. On an average 2000 new words are added every year to the Oxford English dictionary. After much success of the words "introvert"and "extrovert", there is a somewhat similar new word in the domains of lexicography-"TEXTROVERT". Though the word has not yet been added in the Oxford or Webster Dictionary, it has caught the attention of many like me. I feel myself very close to this word. This word can act as an adjective for me,provided, if only, I am allowed to define it in the best of my proximity. Generally,the word "Textrovert" can be used to describe someone who's far more comfortable texting/writing than being in person,or talking over a phone, and I am exactly the same.
